We represent a coalition of parents, teachers, and residents with a vested stake in our schools and town. We all moved to Brookline because of the strength of its schools, municipal services, and vibrant culture. As Brookline enters years of budget uncertainty, with gaps in the School budget haunting next year's planning, we are committed to finding creative solutions to keep our Town strong for our generation and future generations to come.
We believe in good governance and a government that robustly addresses residents’ needs by listening to all stakeholders. All of us were impressed by Brookline coming into compliance with the MBTA-CA, and how Town Meeting rallied to solve problems in a thoughtful and deliberate way. We believe in applying those same principles to the challenges currently facing our town: the Schools budget gap, potential Town budget crunches, and housing affordability. We plan for a Brookline that works for all, governed by all.
We believe in a vibrant Brookline that is built for the future by:
Committing to sustained excellence in our schools for the next generation of students and parents
Addressing the affordability crisis by providing thoughtful housing solutions to meet the needs of renters and owners alike
Protecting and enhancing our green spaces to allow Brookline to lead on climate change
Growing our revenues by supporting new and established small businesses via new commercial development and attracting people to Brookline’s existing stores, cafes, and restaurants
Advocating for improving pedestrian, bicycle, and transportation infrastructure
